For almost two Decades...

Picture
For almost two decades, Dr. William Walsh and the Walsh Research Institute have advanced a deeper understanding of the biochemical factors involved in mental illness.

Our research has helped shape nutritional and biochemical treatment approaches for depression, anxiety, ADHD, autism, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and Alzheimer's disease. Through physician education, more than 1,200 practitioners from over 80 countries have been trained, bringing these protocols to an estimated 1.5 million patients worldwide.

Today, that work continues, but only because of people who believe better answers are possible.

Invest in a Healthier Future

Picture
Walsh Research Institute is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing scientific research that leads to better treatments for mental illness.

Recent funding shortages have forced us to pause promising research into schizophrenia and autism while limiting our ability to provide educational resources and assistance to families in need.

With your support, we can continue investigating the biological causes of mental illness, develop more effective treatment approaches, and bring new discoveries to clinicians and families around the world.

A Legacy of Discovery

Since 1981, Dr. William Walsh and his nonprofit organizations have pioneered drug-free approaches for individuals challenged by depression, anxiety, ADHD, autism, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and Alzheimer's disease.

Through our international physician education program, more than 1,200 practitioners from over 80 countries have been trained in identifying biochemical imbalances, optimizing neurotransmitter function, and applying advanced nutritional, epigenetic, and methylation-based therapies.

Today, an estimated 1.5 million patients worldwide have benefited from these treatment protocols. His scientific career has also included directing the Beethoven Research Project, where his team identified evidence of severe lead poisoning in the composer's remains—an internationally recognized discovery
